- Talk to a wider target audience
- Find out the history of the brand
- What they did before
How to present an idea
- Story board
- Work out how it will be constructed before getting to the final piece
- put it on a timeline with the script and work out which parts don't work/drag.

- Think logically

- Dont let technical skills get in the way of an idea, you can always get other people involved to make it work
- Look at the language
- Meet up with the client if possible
